Connect Health Connect to see how movement affects your mood
Steps, workouts and heart rate are already on your phone. Connecting them lets your mood history answer a question you cannot answer from memory.

Quick answer
Android users want to connect Health Connect to their mood tracker and understand which health data is read and why.
What the connection is for
Health Connect is the Android system that stores health data from your phone and your other apps in one place. Connecting it lets Meylo enrich your entries with steps, distance, calories, heart rate and activities.
The payoff is not the raw numbers. It is the Influences view, where Meylo groups your days by step count and shows the average mood in each band. That comparison is the kind of thing nobody can do reliably from memory.
Before you start
This integration is mobile only. On Android it uses Health Connect; on iPhone it reads health data from the system. In a desktop browser the screen will simply tell you the integration is unavailable.
On Android, Health Connect must be installed on the device. If it is missing, the Meylo screen shows an Install Health Connect action rather than failing silently.

Connecting it
Open Settings, then Data & Integrations, then Health data. Meylo asks Health Connect for read access to the categories it needs.
Health Connect then shows its own permission screen, controlled by Android and not by Meylo. Grant the categories you are comfortable sharing — the integration works with a subset, it simply has less to show.
Use Live test on the Meylo screen to confirm the connection works right now. It fetches today's data and displays what it found, which is faster than waiting a day to discover that a permission was missing.
Reading the result honestly
A relationship between steps and mood in your own data is a prompt, not a verdict. High-step days are often also days off, sunny days, or days with friends, and any of those could be doing the work.
Treat the chart as a question worth testing rather than a rule to obey. If active days really do read better for you over several months, that is useful. One good week proves very little.
Meylo is a journalling tool. It is not a medical device and it does not diagnose anything.
